The joy of the heart and the magic of the soul are what matters most. Darren is a kayaker that thinks not about the river or the technique – but about the internal, the personal philosophy about why we put ourselves in a place of adventure. Over the last 20 years Darren has kayaked on some of the worlds most challenging rivers, along with countless classic descents. He is a writer and has just finished the text for White Water Nepal, a guidebook to the rivers of Nepal. Darren runs the UK based Pure Land Expeditions and Elements Adventure based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
