Matt Blue of Blue Paddle, has experience of working in the adventure education sector rafting all over the world including Austria, New Zealand and Africa. Matt has represented Great Britain in Raft Racing Since 2000 and Competed in the IRF Rafting World Champions in 2007 and 2009, Last year saw the team finish 3rd in the World.
Matt is currently coaching the British Ladies Team in there preparation for European and Worlds Championships in 2010. And is a National Trainer of Paddle Sports and Rafting for Canoe Wales. Also Matt has recently spent time training and assessing the guides for the new course at Cardiff International White Water and Lee Valley White Water Center which is home to the Olympic slalom course. As part of this role has also been assisting in the Risk Assessing and setting of Operating Procedures for the Rafting operations. |
