D4DR H2O: Paddlesports Instructor Training Programme |
"D4DR" the Adventure Gene, whether you have it or not, our instructor training programme is for those paddler's wish to guide, lead, co-ordinate paddling adventures
Our 8 week programme will be built around 3 core boating areas; Sea kayaking in Sardinia , canoeing in the Ardàche and white water kayaking in Slovenia addition to river guiding road trip across the Alps with rafts and duckies. Where possible international recognised qualifications and training will be offered to ensure the widest employment possibilities.

Preparatory Weekend
In North Wales during May 2009, we'll deliver Kayak and Canoe Fundamentals, including BCU 2 Star, UKCC L1 registation & D4DR H2O Breifing
Week 1 & 2
Located in Segre’s on the Ardàche; a week of Canoe Skills including short expeditions, with training in camp craft & basic bush craft. During the second week, REC First aid for paddlers and UKCC level 1 will be undertaken.
Week 3 & 4
Trans Alps Road Trip, startng in the Ardàche and finishing Soča, Slovenia. En route we're offer a comprehensive programme of River Leadership with Raft Guiding Training including an SRT course.
Week 5 & 6
White Water Kayaking on the Soča River in Slovenia; a prime location that is an excellent class room for learning the fundamentals for kayaking. Qualification training includes BCU Basic WWS&R and 3 Star WW kayak.
Week 7 & 8
Sea Kayaking in Sardinia; We fly into this Mediterranean paradise to learn and experience the every best of sea kayaking. Huge expanses of coast line for rock hopping and multi day trips all in the setting of a beautiful landscape.
