Day 1 Arrival at Prince George Airport where we'll head to Smithers
Day 2 Straight to the river for a day trip on the Bulkley River Class III in a beautiful scenic valley with some fun Canyon sections
Day 3 Another day and another run, the Kitsumkalum River is an awesome run with two excellent easily managed Class IV canyons
Day 4 Rest day with packing for our 5 day expedition down the Babine Skeena River
Day 5 To the Babine Valley for the first day Nikitkwa Lake to Haniwald Creek, a mellow first day of paddling
Day 6 The pace picks up on the Aniwald Creek to Thomlinson Creek section Class II, "the calm before storm"
Day 7 Thomlinson Creek to Big Slide Camp Section, enter the canyon with increased difficulty Class III/III+
Day 8 Big Slide Camp to Babine/Skeena Confluence, the fun continues with more good Class III/IV paddling including Sphincter and Grizzly Drops, where we are likely to see grizzly bears
Day 9 Babine Skeena Confluence to Kispiox Indian Village, Big Water rapids and great fun paddling, Take out and back to Smithers
Day 10 Day of departure with shuttle from Smithers to Prince George Airport
Of course, this schedule’s only a guideline: we’ll chop and change depending on how you’re getting on, what the levels are like and what everyone wants to do

The price includes guiding and instruction, raft support with camping equipment, full accommodation and catering in luxury locations and full logisitcs.
It doesn’t cover your flights, personal and health insurance, alcohol or boat and paddling equipment hire

Flights
We recommend that you either fly with British
Airways into Vancouver, Canada and then onwards to Prince George, with West Jet
Accommodation & Catering
We’ll be staying in first rate accommodation in Smithers and all the food will be fresh and hygienically prepared. During our multi-day we’ll stay on sandy riverside beaches using supplied robust camping equipment, (sleeping bags not provided)
Your Paddling Equipment:
- A whitewater river running boat
- Dry paddle top, paddle, Whitewater PFD, good spraydeck and helmet
- Solid footwear for hiking in and out of the gorge
- Suitable gear for travelling light cotton clothing, approach shoes, a sun hat and a comprehensive personal first aid kit
- You should get appropriate medication please consult your GP
- Please keep your luxury items to a minimum
Equipment
Suitable gear for travelling in a developing country is required. This should include some outdoor equipment for a cold & hot weather environment, an excellent personal first aid kit, please keep luxury items limited to avoid any unwanted attention
